Sometimes I dream of worlds I can escape to and places where I remember ancestral times and ancient wisdom. All I want is to go there and forget. Forget the hardship, the struggle, the daily demands and expectations. To forget who I am, and drift into a fantasy that carries me across lifetimes and universes… only to bring me back to remember once more. To remember why I’m here. That I can be the dreamer and still live the life I have.

I can tap into that world whenever I need it. "Atlantis", it calls me, drawing me into the peaceful depths of my own inner chamber of imagination, where I travel through space and time to feel and speak to the truths etched deep within my cells.

Are we awake, or are we asleep? Where does one end and the other begin?

This piece connects the dream world and the waking world, two realms we often must find balance between and honouring the importance of both.

And she reminds us: it’s okay to let go. To sink into the depths for a while. To be pulled under. To spiral. And to rise again for air when we’re ready.
