Through Darkness You Grow

This creation came at a time when the darkness in my life tried to drag me down into the abyss of my shadows. I was tested and pulled into spaces within my own soul and spirit where my ego had to die again and again for me to reach the surface and become the woman I knew I was capable of becoming.

My own deeply woven intention was to know that no matter how deep the darkness got, as the tendrils of influence inside myself and around me took me away from my true essence, keeping my heart open even when it was so very dark, was the biggest gift I could give myself.

She was born into this world to experience that love truly does conquer all. Meeting the space inside herself to expand through heart consciousness and let it emanate from her being, radiating its light into the world, was what helped guide and move her through the immense shifts that sometimes felt impossible to handle. Her heart stayed open, and through it, a new part of her was born, and that part birthed this painting through transformation.
